Dr. Klapper completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University earning a Phi Beta Kappa while in Bloomington, Indiana.
He graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine with Honors and as a member of the AOA Honor Society.
Dr. Klapper completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Baylor of College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he was selected to be Chief Resident.
Dr. Klapper then did specialized fellowship training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Ottawa Eye Institute in Ontario, Canada.
