Associates in Plastic Surgery was founded by Drs. James Eyssen and Arthur vonWerssowetz in 1976. Dr. Christopher Chase merged with the practice in 2006 and has become the sole surgical provider at APS. Over the years we have provided the highest level of plastic surgical care for our patients, specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts and body and establishing our reputation as premier plastic surgeons of Chattanooga.

With the retirements of Drs. Eyssen and vonWerssowetz, Dr. Chase continued the growth of the practice and his commitment to meeting the needs of his patients with exceptional outcomes in a friendly and compassionate office environment. Our TN state-certified, AAAHC-accredited, in-office surgery suite allows for a safe, private and comfortable surgical experience at reduced costs compared to other outpatient facilities.

Dr. Christopher Chase is a plastic surgeon that has been practicing in Chattanooga, TN for over 20 years.
He graduated from East Tennessee State University and completed his training at Quillen College of Medicine.
After medical school, he attended Wake Forest University where he finished his residency and fellowship program.
Dr. Chase is board certified in general & plastic surgery, and he specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures.
He is trained in all aspects of plastic surgery of the body and face, with a special focus on breast augmentation and reconstruction.
