Dr. Tara Goecks graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors, after which she served as a community health volunteer with the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
This inspired her, in large part, to pursue a career in medicine.
She obtained her medical degree at the University of Vermont School of Medicine and completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina Storm Eye Institute.
She was selected amongst top candidates in her field to complete a highly coveted fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery with Drs.
This inspired her, in large part, to pursue a career in medicine.
