Our medical group was founded in 1978 when Dr. Charles Gruenwald, Jr. and Dr. Michael Teague formed their initial partnership following completion of their plastic surgery residencies in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The two partners opened their practice in Baton Rouge and were actively involved in providing a full range of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery services to patients throughout the area.
The practice of the two young surgeons was, in its early years, principally focused on reconstructive surgery - which included providing patients with some of the most current surgical treatment techniques then available in their field.
