Dr. Sonia Espinoza is a citizen of both Nicaragua and the United States.
She received her initial general and plastic surgery training in Nicaragua, followed by an additional three-year intensive surgical program at the renowned Instituto de Cirugia Plastica y Reconstructiva de Jalisco in 1985.
During this time, Dr. Espinoza also completed surgical rotations at the Institut de Chirurgie Esthetique de Montreal, the Hospital Universitaire Brugmann in Brussels, and with D. Ralph Millard, Jr., MD at the University of Miami Medical School in Miami, Florida.
