Melissa was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area.
She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
During her time at Loyola, she was a very active member of her sorority Gamma Phi Beta.
Melissa completed her senior year internship with Ochsner Health Systems in their Human Resources Department.
That is where she discovered her passion for the healthcare industry.
Melissa went on to work for a local dermatology practice where she was an integral part of opening several new locations throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
