Dr. Friedland has been a frequent contributor, lecturer and participant in national and international Plastic Surgery symposia and conferences, and has visited several universities as a Traveling Professor, sponsored by national plastic surgery organizations.
Dr. Friedland has a special love for children and an interest in correcting congenital deformities.
As a result, he has traveled to third world countries, most recently to Haiti, performing correction of cleft lip and palate deformities.
He is presently Chief of Plastic Surgery in the Children's Rehabilitative Services of Arizona.
